বিএনপি নিউজ ২৪ প্রতিবেদক: বিএনপির যুগ্ম মহাসচিব রুহুল কবির আহমেদ রিজভী বলেছেন নরসিংদীর পৌর-মেয়র লোকমান হত্যা মামলায় অভিযুক্ত আসামিদের সরকার পালিয়ে যাওয়ার সুযোগ করে দিচ্ছে । নয়া পল্টনে দলের কেন্দ্রীয় কার্যালয়ে রোববার দুপুরে ঢাকার এক সংবাদ সম্মেলনে তিনি এ অভিযোগ করেন। রিজভী বলেন, ‘‘গুম, হত্যা ও খুনের কিলিং মেশিনে পরিণত হয়েছে শাসকদল। নরসিংদীতে তাদের সন্ত্রাসীদের হাতে নিজ দলের পৌর মেয়র খুন হয়েছেন। নিহতের পরিবার মামলা করার পরও আসামিরা গ্রেফতার হয়নি।
লোকমান হত্যার পর ডাক ও টেলিযোগাযোগ মন্ত্রী রাজিউদ্দিন আহমদ রাজির ছোটো ভাইকে প্রধান আসামী করে মোট ১৪ জনের বিরুদ্ধে নিহতের ভাইয়ের দায়ের করা হত্যা মামলা গ্রহণ করে জেলার সদর থানা পুলিশ। আসামীদের মধ্যে একজন বাদে সবাই আওয়ামী লীগের স্থানীয় নেতাকর্মী। মামলার পর ৩ দিন পেরিয়ে গেলেও তদন্ত এগোয়নি। শুক্রবার জেলার পুলিশ সুপার আক্কাস উদ্দিন ভুইয়াসহ তিন শীর্ষ পুলিশ কর্মকর্তাকে প্রত্যাহার করা হয়।
Bnpnews24 Reporter : BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi in a press briefing on Thursday apprehended that a conspiracy against BNP has been hatched to divert people’s attention from the present situation in Narsingdi. Protesting the detention of BNP’s Narsingdi unit chief and central education secretary Khairul Kabir Khokon, Rizvi said “It is a conspiracy of the government. The mayor’s killing followed his tussle with the local Awami League MP over forming a party committee.”
The joint secretary general also accused the government of diverting people’s attention and asked them to stop violence. Stay off the politics of hatching plots against the opposition,” Rizvi said adding, “No case has been filed even after two days of the inter-city train being set on fire.”
